Chatham County Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce the Aquatic Center will be opening Tuesday July 21, 2020. We are so excited for you to come and see the new and improved facility. New guidelines are set in place to reduce risk and keep safety in mind for patrons and staff.

We will have a planned phased approach, first resuming operations with lap swimming or forward motion exercise use for those individuals 16 years of age and older. In the coming weeks we plan to phase in, recreational swimming, water aerobics, swim lessons, and swim teams.

Our operating hours the first few weeks will be:
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 12:15 PM & 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Saturday 7:00 AM – 12:15 PM
Patrons will need to preregister for a lane in 1 ½ hour sessions, either online at https://aquatic.chathamcountyga.gov/ or by calling the Aquatic Center at 912-652-6793.
Reservations will start Monday July 20, 2020 at 8:00 AM.
Lanes will be limited to one person or one family up to 4 persons living in the same household.
When making reservations please be considerate of others and make sure to fulfil your reservation. Repeat no shows will lose their ability to make advanced reservations.
Regular fees will apply, if you have a membership or punch card and prefer to use it, we will reinstate your account. All punch cards and pre-paid memberships expiration dates will be extended to a future date reflecting the amount of time we were closed.
Reservations are limited to one person, per day, per time slot, (you may not rent a lane for the whole day, or all the lanes for one timeframe).
If you choose not to come back at this time, we will keep your membership or punch card frozen until we resume operations that are more similar to those prior to COVID-19.
No spectators, coaches, or any other deck patrons permitted on the deck at this time.
Please reduce the number of personal items you bring into the CCAC, lockers will not be available for use at this time. To limit your locker room use please come and go in your bathing suit.
Masks or face coverings are required while in the facility, except for when swimming in the pool.

We are excited to show off all of the improvements we have been able to accomplish! Be sure to check out the upgraded lighting throughout the facility, new paint in locker rooms and entryway, and the showstopper of our new resurfaced pools, interior lights, new grates, and fresh safety paint around the perimeters of both pools!!!
